Advice and Guidance Certificate Level 3
The Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Advice and Guidance has been designed to reproduce the work of Professionals who undertake activities at Level 3 working directly with clients, advertising Information, advice, and some level of guidance. Candidates will be working with information that is often explained by others, usually working within some clear guidelines. This level is ideal if your role involves providing advice and guidance directly to clients, reporting to line management as well as associated services. Other services that the qualification may help you in are services such as careers guidance, youth work, schools, colleges, training providers, universities, prison services, charitable and voluntary services, and human resource departments as well as health and social care environments. Learners may work as a receptionist or administrator within advice and guidance services but they might not be directly involved in advising clients; however learners might work closely with clients when they first contact the service.
Advice and Guidance Diploma Level 4
The Level 4 NVQ Diploma is aimed at experienced professionals who work directly with clients, advertising information, advice and guidance and formal assistance. Proposed learners may also some have managerial or training responsibilities and could be creating information, advice and guidance publications. Learners also have to show that they have effective relationships with other organisations. Once you have completed this qualification, you’ll be able to progress to added professional qualifications at the same or higher levels in your related vocational area. This level is ideal if your role involves providing professional advice and guidance to clients, reporting to senior management and networking with related services.
