Who are these qualifications for?

Learning and Development NVQ are intended to meet the individual needs of people working in the education training and learning sector, in addition to those who wish to develop individual training needs and skills. Learning and Development NVQ are ideal for anyone who delivers or develops learning and training programmes, or who supports learners through coaching and mentoring. Alternatively, individuals may have a strategic management role within any learning and development department in their organisations. The Learning and Development NVQs are currently at levels 3, 4 and 5. learning and development awards are work based qualifications and are suitable for those who have real work experience. Individuals will gain the skills needed to plan and provide appropriate training to other individuals within your organisation

Learning and Development NVQ Levels

Level 3 Learning and Development NVQ

This NVQ qualification is appropriate for individuals who deliver and/or develop learning and development programmes and those who support learners. The Learning and Development NVQ will improve your training skills so you can deliver high quality training.

Qualification titles covered;

  • NVQ level 3 Assessor and Verifier Awards
  • NVQ Level 3 in Direct Training and Support
  • NVQ Level 3 in Learning and Development

Level 4 Learning and Development NVQ

This NVQ qualification is appropriate for individuals involved in the direct delivery of learning programmes to individuals and groups, who identify learning aims, needs and styles of individuals and design learning programmes to meet those needs.

Qualification titles covered;

  • NVQ level 4 Assessor and Verifier Awards
  • NVQ Level 4 in Co-ordination of Learning and Development Provision
  • NVQ Level 4 in Learning and Development
  • NVQ Level 4 in Management of Learning and Development Provision

Level 5 in Learning and Development NVQ

This NVQ qualification is appropriate for individuals who have or hold a strategic management role for the learning and development programmes and who are involved in identifying organisational training needs analysis and strategic planning of the implementation of learning and development objectives.
