Level 4

The Level 4 qualifications in Management and Leadership, designed for junior managers. This qualification helps to widen professional management skills that include: decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability. They are also designed to develop personal management capabilities, make effective use of information in decision-making, operations and the development of the skills in managing people.
The ILM Level 4 Certificate in Leadership and Management is approximately an 18 week programme of part-time study that is available on managers-leadersan afternoon or an evening basis. You will study up to 5 units.
The ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management is approximately a 12 week programme of part-time study that is available on an afternoon or an evening basis. You will study a minimum of 2 units.
Its aim is to give practicing managers the further management understanding for development in their role. The qualification does this by developing and reflecting on management skills and helping participants in gaining knowledge required by a manager.

Level 5

This qualification is created for project managers, department heads, and other practicing middle managers that would like to progress into senior management roles. Expand your skills and experience, improve your performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities.
A more lengthy qualification, the Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership gives you a wider knowledge and understanding of middle management skills while focusing on the specific leadership areas that are relevant to you and your workplace.
With a more broad structure, our Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership gives you all the important skills and capabilities you’ll need to become an effective middle manager.
