SMARTT North East Ltd is an approved centre for the deliver of RQF Level 2 and Level 3 First Aid Training Qualifications.
Our team of highly experienced trainers are mainly ex service personnel and are fully qualified with expertise and experience not only in emergency first aid but battle and combat first aid.
Innovation in training is an essential part of the planning and design process of our courses. All of our delivery is based on forward thinking and in line with current legislation. We believe that if we apply interaction within the group, develop interpersonal skills and support learning in a fun, yet encouraging and developmental way, then we can ensure a high quality of learning and encourage learners to develop their skills further. To do this, we devise a range of exercises, tasks, group discussions and well facilitated sessions that are in line with modern teaching practice. We encourage learners to get involved and develop their interpersonal skills by bringing them into conversations and carrying out feedback to the group based on group discussion and outputs.
When preparing and checking resources we ensure that consideration is taken to represent the diverse range of learners who we are targeting and accessing the provision. We will provide additional resources where required to help learners access information or additional learning support. Within planning we ensure that course documents take into consideration the individual needs of the learner and learning styles along with ensuring the environment is conducive to learning.
Every organisation must ensure by law that they have a sufficient number of employees that possess a valid First Aid Qualification in order to fulfil their First Aid requirements. Its the employer’s responsibility to decide what the requirements of the organisation are by assessing any specific work hazards and ensuring that sufficient staff, equipment and facilities are available to deal with the consequences of these hazards. As part of each assessment, the HSE recommends organisations should look at things such as the nature of work engaged in and the subsequent hazards and risks, the size of the organisation, work patterns and accident histories amongst other things.
Here at SMARTT North East, we recognise the significant importance of knowing how to act in the event of an accident or emergency. Our approved Level 2 and Level 3 courses provide First Aid Training for all workplaces and homes.
