What is entry level 3 functional skills maths?

Entry level 3 is suitable for learners aged 14 and sometimes in cases above 14. Functional Skills qualification in Maths at Entry Level 3 is an ideal for learners needing to develop either their practical or transferable skills allowing them to work more confidently, effectively and independently in work and life.

Functional Mathematics aims to ensure that you have a sufficient understanding of a range of mathematical concepts and you know how and when to use them. In a practical context, this means learners will develop the confidence and capability to:
